Cyclades Olive Oil Museum - Andros: The warming water place.

In the above photograph's fire place they were warming water in order to use it for watering the bags before the second press. Warm water was used also to wash the bags in order to be clean for the next client. 

Beside the fireplace you can see the rectangular wooden opening of a cistern in which water was gothering from a nearby spring.
